This means that you must have organized a party or an event beforehand or manually added Papeos in order for you to see it in the home feed at all.
2. To host a party or event, click on the button – “Get Started Now”.
3. Have you ever been invited to a party? Then that party you’ve been invited to will appear in You’ve Been Invited. If there are multiple parties, you can swipe right to see the next party you were invited to.
4. Under “Upcoming Events” you will find the events or parties you are attending.
1. News overview
You will receive notifications of any news that affects you. These are divided into different areas. (see function 05 – notifications).
These individual areas are displayed in the overview when there are new notifications. The number of news items and the designation of the area (filter) are displayed. If you press and hold an area, a button opens to mark all unread notifications in this area as read.
If you click on one of the filters, the feed only shows the notifications from this area. The selection of the filter areas is shown reduced at the top edge of the screen and displayed there permanently when scrolling. If you scroll up so far that you have reached the top feed, this bar will be hidden again and completely displayed. The selection bar can be scrolled to the right and left because not all filters can be displayed at the same time.
You can also select several filter areas by clicking, the notifications from the selected areas will then be displayed.
Under the selection of the filter areas, there is a brief summary of which areas are displayed, the information scrolls with it.
2. My feed
If there are new notifications, the filters are listed and show the number of new notifications.
3. Reload
Expecting a new notification but not seeing it? Then click the “Reload” button. You refresh the notifications by clicking on the “Reload” button.
4.Artists
When you click the Artist button, a list of artists will open. Here you will find artists who need professional help at your party, for example Dj’s, organizers, singers etc…
5.Feed
The feed shows all received notifications in chronological order. The newest are at the top, the oldest at the bottom. If the screen is scrolled to an unread notification, it is automatically marked as read as soon as it was visible on the screen for more than 1 second.
In the default setting, the feed shows all new notifications. If an area (or several) has been selected via the overview, only notifications for this area are displayed. If you change the selection by clicking, the feed is adjusted to the selection and automatically scrolls to the beginning.
The same navigation bar is used in all screens of the app.
This is floating in the lower part of the screen (but not arranged directly on the edge).
The navigation bar always contains the same functions for quick selection.
The centrally located SEARCH button makes the selection. This changes to a home button (house logo) as soon as you leave the area of the start page. The home button has the function of going back to the start screen. When you get back to the Start screen, the button changes back to a search button.
When you click the SEARCH button, a new page opens with the search filter and the search result list. (Function 06 – Search).
The search filter settings are saved and always applied to the homepage. If you return to the start page, only the results according to the search filter will be displayed on the start page. If you have seen all results on the start page, you will receive results from all areas.
If filters are set via the SEARCH function, you will recognize this by the fact that the SEARCH button will be animated with a pulsing color.
To the left of the SEARCH button is the CHAT button. This button opens the chat function. When clicked, a new page will open with the chat. If there are new messages, the CHAT button is marked with a dot, which shows the number of unread messages. The button expands according to the number of digits in the unread messages. If there are more than 999 messages, this will be displayed as +999.
The MENU button is placed on the right edge. When you click the button, a menu with the most important functions of Papeo opens on the right-hand side of the screen (function 03 – main menu). This gives you quick and clear access to areas that are important to you.
In order to be able to use the functions of Papeo, you have to register as a user.
This is done through the login screen. If you do not want to log in, click on the BACK button at the top left.
The login screen is always the same for new and already registered users.
There are two ways you can register or log in as a user.
1. Registration via cell phone number
2. Registration via Apple
3. Registration via Google
Here you select the flag of your country in which your own cell phone number is registered. The application then automatically adds your own country code to the phone number (e.g. +49 for Germany). When selecting the flag, you can also enter the country name you are looking for in the search field and thus find your desired country faster.
Then you enter your cell phone number. You do not have to enter the leading 0 of the cell phone area code, as this is automatically replaced by the country code. (E.g. for the cell phone number 0123/ 456789 you enter 123456789. The country code +49 has already been selected as a flag, resulting in the cell phone number +49 123456789).
If the number is entered correctly, click on the LOGIN button and the cell phone number will be sent to the Papeo server.tig eingegeben, klickst du auf den LOGIN-Button und die Handynummer wird an den Papeo-Server gesandt.
If the cell phone number is known and you have already entered and confirmed your email address, you will receive a PIN code by email. (You will see a corresponding note that the PIN code has been sent to the email address, the email address is displayed anonymously, only the first character, 3 stars@3 stars, the last character and the domain ending.)
Otherwise the Papeo server will send a PIN code via SMS to your given mobile number to verify the mobile number.
If the number is correct and the SMS has been received, the PIN number will be automatically adopted by the mobile phone (if not, you can also enter it manually). You confirm the entered PIN number by clicking on the CONFIRM button.
If you do not receive a PIN via SMS, you can have the message sent again after a waiting period of 30 seconds. The link to send the PIN again is only displayed after the 30-second waiting period has expired. You can see how long you have to wait by automatically counting down the waiting time in the application.
Before you have the PIN sent to you again, you should check whether you entered the correct number. If this is not the case, you can correct it by clicking on the CHANGE NUMBER link.
After confirming the PIN, you have the following options:
a) You are new and do not yet have a user profile. In this case, the application will recognize that the cell phone number has not yet been registered and will redirect you to a page where you can create a new profile. (33 – Create a profile)
b) You are already known and are registering for the 1st or 2nd time with your cell phone number or have already entered your email address
In this case you will be logged into the application. A welcome screen appears with a brief summary of new messages, new notifications, new friend requests, number of party plans and past events. You can click on these individual events and you will be linked directly to the respective point or you confirm the page with ok and can continue your work at the point where you registered.
c) You are already known and have registered more than 2 times with your cell phone number and have not yet saved an email address with a user password.
In this case you will not be logged into the application. A new screen will appear in which you must enter your email address. This is to ensure that you no longer authorize yourself via SMS PIN in the future, but receive PINs by email. After entering the email address you will receive an email to check whether the email address is correct. This contains a link that you have to click on.
As long as the link is not clicked, a waiting screen appears in the application with the message that the email address must first be confirmed. The notice also contains a way to correct the email address.
If the link in the email was clicked, the notification will close and you will be logged into the application. A screen appears that you have successfully registered with your email. To continue with the application, click “Next”, a welcome screen will appear with a short summary of new messages, new notifications, new friend requests, number of party drafts and past events. You can click on these individual events and you will be linked directly to the respective point or you confirm the page with ok and can continue your work at the point where you registered.
You can log in using your existing Google login or Apple login.
If you are already known, you will be registered in the application. A Welcome screen appears with a brief summary of new messages, new notifications, new friend requests, number of party drafts, and past events. You can click on these individual events and you will be linked directly to the respective point or you confirm the page with ok and can continue your work at the point where you registered.
If you are new and do not yet have a user profile, the application will redirect you to a page where you can create a new profile. This is already pre-filled with data that may have been stored by Google.
The main menu can be reached via the avatar image of your own profile on the top right side of the start page and opens as an overlay on the right side of the screen when you click on it.
If you click on the CROSS button at the top right or on another screen area that is not occupied by the main menu, the menu closes again.
You can access the following areas by clicking on the main menu:
1. Own profile – by clicking on the avatar or name
In your own profile you can see all of your own information, such as pictures, description, personal data, membership and party points
2. Parties & Tickets
Under Parties & Tickets, a list of all parties that you have marked as favorites and which you are going to opens (Function 08 – My party list). Your tickets to the party are also on this list.

4. My party friends
Under this item you will find a list of your party friends (Function 40 – Summary and Papeo’s party friends (own view))
5. Settings
Under Settings you can adapt the application to your preferences. There is also the option to unblock blocked users and to log out of the application. (Function 34-My Settings).
6. Share
Under the share menu item you can share the application with your friends and invite them to Papeo. (Function 25 – Share Function).
7. Verify Users
Users who want to confirm their authenticity via an identification video are displayed under the menu item. You can decide whether the user is real or fake. The majority of the community decides. (function 41 – Videoident).
8. Competition
The Papeo team regularly organizes competitions that you can participate in. On this competition button you can view all information about the current competition and also take part. (Function Party Competition).
9. User Manual
Link to user manual on the web.
10. Services
You can use the service button to submit error messages. There you will also find information on data protection, imprint and terms of use. With the “Other” button, you have the option of logging out of your profile or deleting your profile.
11. Select language
The application always starts in the language that is preset in the respective end device. If this is not taken over or not taken over correctly. you can change the language of the entire application in this area. All you have to do is click on the respective country flag.
In the chat you can talk to other users.
There are basically two different types of users you can talk to:
1. Organizers of parties
You can only chat with them if you are attending an event, chatting works just like chatting with your own party friends, but it is not possible to start a conversation.
2. ARTIST profiles
Artists can message you even if they’re not friends with you. In general, however, this is only possible via the profile of the artist.3. Deine eigenen Partyfreunde:
To start a conversation, click on the NEW CHAT icon located in the Papeo button menu (Function 01.01 – Navigation bar). A list of your party friends will appear with whom you can start a chat. The (01.01 – Navigation bar) is displayed in the chat overview. This is hidden in the sub-screens.
Select the desired party friend and the conversation opens, which is still empty when you first contact them.
Entertainment:
1. Here you can now enter a text message in the text field that you want to send to the party friend. All international character sets and smilies are supported. Once you’ve started a text message, the microphone icon to the right of the text field turns into a SEND button (arrow).
2. You can attach any files to the message (click on the PAPERCLIP icon), these can be images, videos, but also PDFs and other files. A preselection opens, which you have to click on. (Other and Gallery) Depending on your choice, the system dialog of the device opens, via which you can select the corresponding file for sending. If it is an image or video, it will be displayed again in advance and can be sent by clicking on the SEND button. All other files are sent immediately. For images and videos there is a preview in the chat, which can be enlarged by clicking (full screen display), all other files are displayed as a file symbol with file name and downloaded when clicked.
3. You can also send live images or live videos via message, which can be recorded by clicking on the CAMERA symbol. Recorded images or videos are displayed again in advance and can be sent by clicking on the SEND button.
4. Text messages are sent to the party friend by clicking the SEND button.
It is also possible to send voice messages as long as the text field is empty. To do this, hold down the MICROPHONE button next to the text field and you can record a voice message. The voice message is sent automatically as soon as the button is released.
Messages that have been sent can be deleted again. This works by clicking and holding on the desired message. A query then appears asking whether the message should be deleted from the chat.
You can see the status of the sent message next to the time the message was sent. A tick means that the message was received on the interlocutor’s application. Two ticks mean that the interlocutor opened the chat and was able to take note of the message.
Chat overview:
The (01.01 – Navigation bar) is displayed in the chat overview.
If you already have existing conversations, you can see them listed in the chat overview. If new messages have arrived in a chat, you can recognize this by the circled number under the time. You can continue the conversations by simply clicking on the desired chat.
You can also filter conversations in this view. The buttons in the upper part of the chat overview are used for this. Clicking the CHAT button causes only messages from chats with party friends to be displayed. Clicking the PARTY button causes only messages related to a party to be displayed. These are normal chats (via the organizer’s user account), but there was at least one broadcast message in the chat history, which was sent via a party function. If there are still unread messages under the CHAT or PARTIES tab, this is marked with a red dot on the tabs.
If the organizer that appears in the party chat is your friend at the same time, the chat will appear under both CHAT and PARTY.
For a better overview of many existing chats, there is a search field that appears when you scroll up under the chat buttons. Here you can search through your messages in the displayed chat lists. Both the names of the chat partners and the entire chat history are searched in full text.
To permanently delete individual chats or messages, press and hold on a chat or the message. After a short time, you will be asked whether the chat or message should be deleted. If you delete entire chats, they will only be deleted for you, not for the other user who took part in the conversation. If you only delete a single message, it will be deleted from both chat partners.
Notifications are displayed as a feed on the home page.
There are the following categories:
1. All about parties
2. My parties
3. My friends
4. My Subscribers
5. New Comments
6. Shared Content
7. Everything about my profile

Notifications are always sorted by date, the newest notifications appear at the top, the oldest at the bottom.
The notifications can be filtered by category.
The presentation and definition of when a notification is created is regulated for each individual category in the sub-items.
The search screen allows you to search the entire application.
It is possible to search for parties or for papeos (=party people = user profiles). It is not possible to search for both at the same time.
When you open it for the first time, the Parties tab is activated and no filter is active. All parties relevant to you are displayed (see also function 34 – My settings). The party that will take place next is displayed at the top. If there are several events that start at the same time, the event that is closest to the user is displayed first. Below this are the other events in chronological order, with the party furthest in the future and furthest away from you at the end.
Search for parties:

You can recognize this by the fact that the PARTYS button is animated on the search screen.
Search for Papeos (user profiles):
1. To search for Papeos, the Papeos button must be clicked. This is then highlighted in color.

Result list and map view
You can use the VIEW button at the top right to choose between LIST view and MAP view of the search results.
By default, search results are listed one below the other.
If you have selected the map view, all search results will be displayed on a world map. The map section is automatically zoomed so that all search results can be displayed. If there are too many results at one point, they will be grouped with a single dot (which shows the number of results), the grouping point must be clicked, then all parties at that point will be displayed and you can slide right and through them look left.
Alternatively, the map can also be zoomed in by hand in order to better display the results of individual regions.
If you are not logged in and use the search function, you will only receive the possible ads (e.g. how many friends are attending a party or how many friends have noticed a party is not relevant)
The search results also show your own parties and profile.Sortierung der Partys Listenansicht:
All parties relevant to you will be displayed (see also function 34 – My settings), that match the set search criteria. The party that will take place next will be displayed at the top. If there are several events that start at the same time, the event that is closest to your location saved in your profile will be displayed first. Below this are the other events in chronological order, with the party furthest in the future and furthest away from you at the end.
Sorting of Papeo’s list view:
In the search results, the user profile that is closest to your location stored in the profile is displayed first. The other profiles follow in the order of their distance, the most distant profile last. If two profiles are the same distance away, the time of the user’s last activity is used as an additional sorting criterion, with the most recently active profiles being displayed first
You can remember parties you are interested in.
This is possible in two different ways:
1. On the home page:
You can swipe parties to the right or left.
If you swipe the displayed party to the left, it means that you are not interested in the party and the party will no longer be displayed on the homepage.
If you swipe right, it means you want to save the party. The party will then appear in your MY PARTIES list and will be noted. The alternative to swiping right is to click the NOTE button (star) on the party. The function is identical to swiping to the right.
2. In the detailed view of the party
You can save a party by clicking on the save button (star) in the detail view of the party. The party will then appear in your MY PARTIES list and will be noted.
The list of my parties shows all parties that you have not created yourself, for which you have requested participation, which you participate in or which you have saved.
You can use the three buttons REQUESTED, PARTICIPATION and NOTED to select:
PENDING – displays all closed parties awaiting confirmation from the organizer to attend.
You can delete parties from the list by clicking the TRASH button in the top right corner of the party preview. A confirmation window will then appear in which you must confirm the withdrawal of your participation request. After confirmation, your request to participate will be deleted. If the organizer’s acceptance and the withdrawal of the request overlap, you will be removed directly as described under PARTICIPATION. The party is deleted from the REQUESTED list and moved to the MARKED list.
ATTENDANCE – shows all the parties you want to go to and where you are on the guest list.
You can delete parties from the list by clicking the TRASH button in the top right corner of the party preview. A confirmation window will appear asking you to confirm your intention to unsubscribe from the party’s guest list. After confirmation you will be removed from the list of participants of the party. Appropriate notifications will be sent to the organizer, friends and followers. The party is deleted from the ATTENDING list and moved to the REMARKED list.
TICKETS – Here you can also find the tickets you bought for the party you want to go to.
MARKED – shows all the parties that you’ve saved.
You can delete parties from the list by clicking the TRASH button in the top right corner of the party preview. ATTENTION, no further confirmation window appears. You will be removed from the party prospects list. Appropriate notifications will be sent to friends and followers. The party is deleted from the MARKED list.
You can attend a party.
To do this, you must click on the PARTICIPATE button in the detailed view of the party (Function 21 – How do others see my party?). ATTENTION, the button is only displayed if there are still free places available on the guest list in the party.
There are now two different options:
1. open parties
After clicking the PARTICIPATE button, you are registered as a guest and appear on the guest list. ATTENTION, if there are no more places left on the guest list (e.g. because two users are participating at the same time and only one guest list place was free, participation will be rejected and a message will appear that the guest list is full). If you are already on the guest or waiting list for other parties running at the same time, this is only possible if the permitted number has not been exceeded as described under 43- Membership.
New users who have been added to the guest list receive the welcome text that the organizer has specified as a chat message (see also function 20 –How can I see my parties? . The organizer is specified as the sender. The guest can reply to this chat message. So there is the possibility to chat with the organizer, even if the guest is not a friend of the organizer If no text is stored, no message will be sent and therefore there is no possibility for the guest to chat with the organizer if he is not a friend of the latter is.
The PARTICIPATE button will be hidden and replaced by the INVITE button if you have been added to the guest list. If you are already on the guest or waiting list for other parties running at the same time, this is only possible if the permitted number has not been exceeded as described under 43- membership.
2. closed parties
You are on the waiting list after clicking the PARTICIPATE button. The button is replaced by the “WITHDRAW REQUEST” button.
Any number of users can be put on the party’s waiting list as long as the guest list is not full.
The organizer now has the option of confirming or rejecting your participation.
As long as you have not yet been confirmed by the organizer, you can cancel their request to participate by clicking the “WITHDRAW REQUEST” button. In this case, he is no longer on the waiting list and the button changes back to “PARTICIPATE”.
If the request was declined by the organizer, you will receive a notification and will not be able to register for the party again.
If the request has been approved by the organizer, you will receive a notification and will be added to the guest list. The “WITHDRAW REQUEST” button will be hidden and replaced by the “INVITE” button.
Users who are new to the guest list receive the welcome text that the organizer has specified as a chat message (see also function 20 – How can I see my parties?). The organizer is specified as the sender. The guest can reply to this chat message. Thus there is the possibility to chat with the organizer, even if the guest is not friends with the organizer. If no text is stored, no message will be sent and therefore there is no possibility for the guest to chat with the organizer if he is not a friend of the latter.
If you are on the guest list, you can invite other users to the party using the “INVITE” button. This is described under 24 – Recommend party (guest invites guest).
If the guest list is already full and you are not on the guest list for open parties or have not yet registered for the waiting list for closed parties, the “PARTICIPATE” button will be hidden without replacement.
If you are registered for a party and you are on the guest list, the application will ask you if you are present. It is very important for the Papeo community to trust in the promises of guests, so the presence of registered guests is requested.
There are two possibilities:
1. the application is not open
You will receive a push notification on your cell phone, prompting you to record your presence at the event. If you click on the push message, the app will open. It continues as described under point 2.
2. the application is open
If the application is open, a popup opens over the current view. In this you will be asked if you are at the party. You can answer the question with yes or no. If you don’t want to answer yet because you’re later at the party or you’re not sure whether you’re going to attend the party, you can postpone the question, and the pop-up will open and ask again 60 minutes later.
If you answer the question with yes, the application will check your current location. If this does not correspond to the party’s location, you will receive a notification that your location does not correspond to the party’s location and that you should first go to the party before you can confirm your attendance. The notice includes a button to recheck the location, defer the attendance request (see above), or ask the host to add you to the guest list. If you ask the organizer to put you on the guest list, the organizer will receive a canned chat message with the event name, your name and a request that they would like to manually mark the user as present. (the chat message is also written if both users are not friends with each other. The chat is then displayed under PARTY chats).
If you keep pressing the LATER button, the question of attendance will only be repeated until the end of the event and then automatically saved as not present. If no event end is specified, the application repeats the question about attendance within 2 hours after the event begins and will then automatically save participation as not present.
If you answer the question with NO, I CAN’T PARTICIPATE, you will not be asked again and counted as not present for the party.
You can rate a party you’ve attended.
The prerequisite for this is that you were present at the party (see 10-capturing party presence).
If you were at the party, you will receive a popup 12 hours after the start of the event in which you can rate the party. If the app is not open at this time, you will receive a push message. If you click on this, the app will open and show the popup. If you don’t click on the push notification, the popup will appear the next time you open the application.
In the popup you can rate the party by clicking on the appropriate number of stars you want to give the party (1 star bad, 5 stars excellent). The stars then fill in color depending on the selection, so that you can see how many stars you want to award.
Optionally, you can write a short comment on your rating.
When you have entered all the data, you can save them by clicking on the SEND button. If you don’t want to give a rating, you can end the rating by clicking CANCEL.
The rating is saved with the party. However, the organizer is evaluated. The distribution of the rating can be seen in his rating profile. Comments can be read there and you can see the rating of his individual parties. The evaluation profile can be viewed via the organizer’s user profile.r einzelnen Partys einsehen. Das Bewertungsprofil ist über das Benutzerprofil des Veranstalters einsehbar.
Ratings can be viewed via the profile of the respective user by clicking on the rating stars.
The evaluation is presented as follows:
1. At the top left is a LEFT ARROW button. If you click on this, you will return to the previous view
2. Above the screen is the overall rating, which is the average of all the individual ratings you’ve received.
3. All the parties for which you have received ratings are listed below.
For each party, the average rating received is also displayed as a star rating only for the respective party.
If the reviewers have left comments on your rating, the comments relating to the party are listed below.
These are initially hidden. Only one line is displayed in which you can see how many comments there are for the party. If you click on this line, the three most recent comments will open below (these first contain the comment text and then the avatar and profile name of the author), the most recent comment will be displayed at the bottom, the other comments above it in chronological order, the oldest comment at the top .
To the right of the comment is a… menu button. This opens the available options for the comment. For comments that you did not create yourself, this is the menu function Report (46 – Report violation) to report violations in comments. If you have created a comment yourself, you will receive the menu items DELETE RATING and EDIT RATING. DELETE RATING irrevocably deletes the rating after confirmation. EDIT RATING opens the window described above for creating a comment. the window is already pre-filled with the comment the user wrote and the rating he gave. You can now change the rating and comment and save them. If changes were actually made to the previous evaluation, the evaluation will be marked (EDITED) in the future and the date of the change will be displayed.
If there are more comments, the line between party and comment that shows the number of comments changes to a line that shows how many comments are still hidden.
Clicking on this line again shows 5 more previous comments. This is repeated until all comments are shown, then the line is only shown as a short hyphen. Clicking on the line again collapses all comments and the display starts over.
All other rated parties are displayed in this form. The last party held is always at the top, the oldest party last. If more parties were rated than can be displayed on a screen, further parties are loaded when scrolling.
Any user can create parties for Papeo. There are differences for regular users and users with an active King Member membership. The differences are explained in the description of each sub-screen.
Throughout the build process, the 01.01 Nav-Bar will be hidden.
To create a party, several steps are necessary:
1/15 designation of the party
The name of the party must be entered on the first subpage. In addition to the party picture, the name is the criterion that is displayed in all searches and lists. It should therefore be well formulated and meaningful.
When all entries are complete, click on the CONTINUE button (bottom right) to get to the next input field. The CROSS button at the top right cancels the entire creation process for the party, the party is saved as a draft and can be edited at a later point in time. The left BACK arrow at the top finishes creating the event and takes you back to the previous screen. Nothing is saved.
2/15 party description
From this screen, the party name from step 1 is displayed as the title. If the party name is longer than can be displayed on one line, gradient will shorten it.
The party description explains everything important about the party to the guests. It should be easy to read and informative. The number of possible characters is displayed on the right above the text input field.
When all entries are complete, click on the CONTINUE button to get to the next input field. The CROSS button at the top right cancels the entire creation process for the party, the party is saved as a draft and can be edited at a later point in time. The BACK arrow at the top left takes you back to the previous screen if you want to make any changes there.
3/15 In order to be able to assign and find the party better, tags are also requested. Tags are keywords that better describe the party.
To add a tag, just click on the #Add tag field and you can type in a tag there and confirm with OK/ENTER on the keyboard. The tag is saved immediately and the next tag can be entered. To remove tags again, click on the CROSS symbol on the tag and the tag will be deleted immediately without asking.
4/15 choice private or commercial party
Private: are parties which take place at the user’s home, in his private or in public places. Entry will not be charged or only charged at a rate to cover the cost of the party.
Commercial: These parties are held by the organizer to make a profit, for advertising purposes or to collect donations.
You need to classify your party correctly. To do this, click on the appropriate selection and click on the CONTINUE button.
The CROSS button at the top right cancels the entire creation process for the party, the party is saved as a draft and can be edited at a later point in time. The BACK arrow at the top left takes you back to the previous screen if you want to make any changes there.
Set up 5 & 6/15 ticket shop
You can activate the event ticket area. Activation can happen during the initial creation process or afterwards.
If you haven’t created a Stripe account yet, you need to create a Stripe account before you can create tickets, you do this by clicking the “Create ticket shop” button. You can find more information about ticketing under (function 13 – ticket creation & shop creation).
If you don’t want to set up a ticket shop yet, click on Skip.
7/15 Choice open or closed party
Open Party: The party is public. Anyone can see the party and all the details including the address in Papeo. To join the party, the guest simply clicks a button to join and is immediately on the guest list. A separate activation by the organizer is not necessary. The organizer can delete registered users from the guest list at any time. They cannot then register for the party again.
Closed party: The party is private, the address of the party is not published, only the venue is shown, the map shows the party with an accuracy of 1km to protect the privacy of the organizer. In order to join the party, you must request attendance. The organizer can then approve this participation or reject it. Approved guests see all information about the party, including the full address. The organizer can delete registered users from the guest list at any time. They may then have to re-register for the event.
Secret Party: The party is secret, the party will be nowhere to be seen. You decide who you want to share the party with. The party will only be visible if you share it.
When all entries are complete, click on the NEXT button to go to the next subpage. The CROSS button at the top right cancels the entire creation process for the party, the party is saved as a draft and can be edited at a later point in time. The BACK arrow at the top left takes you back to the previous screen if you want to make any changes there.
8/15 Determine the venue
From this screen, the icons for the party type are displayed under the party name.
The venue of the party must be determined. You can do this by entering the full address in the text box. The map then automatically zooms to this address. It is also possible to enter the address incompletely (e.g. only the place). The map then only zooms to the recognized part of the address. You also have the option to zoom the map to his current location by clicking the LOCATE ME button at the bottom right. You can move the map manually and mark the venue directly on the map.
9/15 set the date of the party
You select the month and the year by sliding to the right or left in the top line. The current month and the next 23 months are available.
Below you can select the day of the month. If you change the month in the previous line, the day selection updates with the days of the week, but remains on the selected day. If there is no day in the selected month, the display jumps back to the last day of the month.
The beginning of the party can be selected under Start time. Information that is not possible is hidden. If the day of the event changes in the previous line, the time remains as selected. If it is not possible to specify the time (e.g. the day of the event is today and the time is in the past), the time changes to the earliest possible value. The earliest possible value is 2 hours after the current time. The selection is possible in steps of 15 minutes, it is always counted from the full hour.
The date and start time are mandatory information and must be provided.
Optionally, the end of the party can be entered. To do this, click on the END button and a timeline will also be displayed. The timeline starts 30 minutes after the start of the event and ends 15 minutes before the time of the start of the event on the following day (e.g. start of the event 06.09.2022 20:00 – timeline from 20:15 to 19:45). The maximum event duration is therefore 23 hours and 45 minutes. The selection is possible in steps of 15 minutes, it is always counted from the full hour.
10/15 entrance fee to the party
Free Entry: Entry to the party is free. The information is binding. If an entrance fee is charged, the guests can report the organizer to Papeo. Repeat violation may result in the organizer being banned from creating new events.
With admission: You can set the admission price in the text field. This is not tied to a currency, but can also contain creative entries such as 2 bottles of beer. Please note that private parties may only charge for entry to cover costs. Higher entry costs violate Papeo’s terms and conditions and can lead to a ban from creating events. For-profit entry fees are possible for commercial parties, there is no entry limit.
11/15 number of participants
A venue is usually limited in size. Here you enter the maximum possible number of guests. If the party has reached the maximum number of possible participants on the guest list, no other people can register for the party. The entry is possible via the input field using the keyboard (limited to digits) or the slider. The maximum is 5000. Only 1-100 people can be set via the slider. If you select 100 people via the slider, the input field is automatically activated to show the user that more users can be entered manually.
There is animation to show the number of guests. A little party man is displayed for each guest. If there is no more space on the screen, a picture with a party crowd is displayed.
12/15 Information about the party for guests
Here the organizer has the opportunity to formulate a text which will be automatically sent to all guests who are new to the guest list. The text is sent to the user as a chat message. The organizer is specified as the sender. The guest can reply to this chat message. Thus there is the possibility to chat with the organizer, even if the guest is not friends with the organizer. If no text is stored here, no message will be sent either and therefore there is no possibility for the guest to chat with the organizer if he is not a friend of the latter. The number of characters still available is displayed on the right above the text input field.
13/15 party pictures
To make the party interesting, you can upload pictures and videos of the party.
The camera of the device opens via the CAMERA button and you can take live pictures and videos, which are uploaded to the party.
You can use the UPLOAD FROM DEVICE button to upload pictures and videos already stored on the device to the party.
All uploaded media appear in the image/video preview. This can be scrolled to the right and left if there are more media than can be displayed. The first image or video is colored and represents the gallery image. This is displayed in the preview of the party. (if it is a video, a preview image must be generated in order to be able to display this outside of the main view in the party preview) In the detail view of the party, all images are automatically played in sequence in the header. Videos are played automatically, images are displayed. The pictures and videos run as a slide show in the party.
If you do not want to use an image that has already been uploaded, you can delete it by clicking on the trash can symbol. To change the order of the images, just click and move them.
Once all media has been uploaded, click on the PREVIEW button to get to the preview. The CROSS button at the top right cancels the entire creation process for the party, the party is saved as a draft and can be edited at a later point in time. The BACK arrow at the top left takes you back to the previous screen if you want to make any changes there.
14/15 preview
All entries for the party have now been made, you will receive a preview of the party you have created.
All entries can be changed again by pressing and holding the values you want to change. The view then jumps back to the respective input screen for the desired content.
If you are satisfied with your entries, you can click on the PUBLISH button.
Each user has a certain limit to create private and commercial parties. If the limit is exceeded, the party can only be created if you use the displayed number of party points or, if possible, purchase a Party King membership.
If you don’t want to publish the party at this point, you can click the SAVE AS DRAFT button. The party is then saved in the drafts and can be edited and published again later.
Limits: There are different limits for standard members and PartyKing members on how many parties can be created at the same time. The user can find the maximum number of parties that can be created in the membership screen (43- Membership). A maximum of 3 private parties means that you can have 3 active private parties. However, you can create as many private party designs as you want. If one of the active parties has been deleted or has expired, a new private party can be activated.
You can remove the limit by upgrading to a higher membership or paying with Partypoints to unlock an additional party.
If you have any parties left to create, the party will be created and a screen will appear stating that the creation was successful. BACK TO HOMESCREEN takes you to the main page, INVITE GUESTS takes you to the invite guests page (function 22 – invite people to a party)).
If you don’t have any more parties to activate, you will receive an error message that offers you the option of switching to a higher membership if possible or buying the release with party points. If you do not have enough Partypoints, he will be directed to the Partypoints-Buy screen (42 – Partypoints account).
The party is immediately visible online to other users as soon as it is published.

You or an admin with the appropriate rights of a party can create a digital menu card. Items can be added to this menu card. The items are priced in Papeo Party Poins and euros. Each menu card has information about the fees.
Management
The digital menu cards can be titled and saved. Menu cards can be updated and deleted.
Events
The organizer can allow one of the digital menu cards at the event and set whether individual items can also be paid for with Papeo Party Points. The organizer can also determine the number of possible order processes with Papeo Party Points per user. The adjustment of the order quantity can be adjusted until the end of the party. The digital menu card can be viewed by the guest.
Organizer account
The organizer account is filled with the collected Papeo Points for all events.
Use
The menu card can be called up by the guest. The guest selects the items he would like to buy and, depending on the menu, can choose whether he wants to pay with Papeo Points or money. If the user does not have enough Papeo Points to complete the order or has not stored a payment method in his Papeo account, an error dialog appears with a link to top up points or to store the card. The guest sees a list of his order and can now generate a QR code.
History
The user gets a history of his payment transactions from each event
Accounts
Users who want to use the Papeo payment system within events must create a user account with payment information. The payment data and possible payment methods must be stored in this user account in accordance with the payment provider’s specifications. The user has the option of deleting his payment data again. If the buyer is sure, he can generate a QR code and show it to your staff. Your staff will scan this QR code and see the buyer’s order. Your staff can decide whether to accept or reject the order. If your staff rejects the order, the process is aborted, if your staff accepts the order, the buyer receives a purchase confirmation. If an error occurs after the buyer has received a purchase confirmation, requiring your staff to cancel the purchase, then the transactions will show as cancelled. Every order and cancellation is stored with time, purchase price, user and staff information. The user can choose whether to pay with Party Points or real money, provided Party Points are permitted.
Creation of employees
As the organizer of an event, you can add Papeo users to your event as employees. These employees must have Papeo accounts. The added employees do not initially have any rights. If Papeos are created as employees for an event, you will see this in a separate overview that lists all the events you work for. As the organizer, you see a list of employees and the assignment with the corresponding rights from your point of view.
Privileges
You as the event organizer or your event admins with the appropriate rights can assign the “Ticket Scanner” or “Payment System Scanner” right to employees. Employees with the appropriate rights can access and use the features.
Ticketing
As the organizer, you have a dashboard in which you can get event-related insights into sold tickets for future and past events. The metrics are revenue numbers and tickets sold.

All guests who are new to the guest list receive this text. The text is sent as a chat message to the user who has successfully been added to the guest list.
If no text is stored, a placeholder is displayed here so that you can add text.

14. Party photos
This area displays party photos and videos from users and the organizer. The most recently uploaded images and videos are displayed first.
ATTENTION: If you have uploaded a medium to this party and hidden it, the medium will still be displayed to the organizer in this view, but marked accordingly. The organizer himself can also hide the medium so that it remains hidden in the party when the uploader makes the medium visible again.
1. Above each medium is the avatar and username of the user who uploaded it, as well as when the picture was posted (display up to 1 minute: “just now”, 1-60 minutes: “xx minutes ago”, 1- 24 hours: “xx hours ago”, longer than 24 hours: date time hh:mm). The organizer can hide the post from his party or show it again (HIDE/STOP HIDING) or delete the post completely from the platform (DELETE) using the … menu on the right.
2. If the post is hidden, the medium and all comments will still be visible in the creator’s profile and will only no longer be displayed in the party pictures for other users. (21 – How do others see my party ?), the medium is still displayed in your own party view, but marked as hidden so that the organizer can make the medium visible again.
3. If the post is deleted, the medium and all comments will be removed from the Papeo platform and cannot be restored. This function is to be used responsibly by the organizer, as it censors third-party content.
4. The medium itself follows. Images are generally scaled to the entire width of the screen while maintaining the aspect ratio. Images that are too tall are scaled to a maximum height of 1350 pixels, the side edges to the edge of the screen are filled with white bars. Videos are scaled to the width of the screen but to a maximum height of 1350 pixels while maintaining the aspect ratio and played automatically. Playback is always muted. Muting can be switched on or off by clicking on a loudspeaker symbol.
5. Below the medium on the left is a LIKE button. Any user (including the creator himself) can click on it to indicate that he likes the post. To the right is the number of likes this post has already received.
6. On the right side below the medium there is a speech bubble and a button to share the photo with other users.
If you click on the speech bubble, a window will open with all the comments and you can write your own comment. The function is described under 32.2 – Link to a user..
7. If you click on the share button, you can share the image with other users in the application or via third-party applications such as Whatsapp. The function is described under 25 – Share function.
8. Below these function buttons is a comment on the image, provided the creator has created one. If you created the medium yourself, you can edit the comment by pressing and holding it. (If there is no comment for your own medium, a placeholder is displayed here to add one.) An overlay opens to change the entry. You can save changes by clicking on SAVE or discard them by clicking on the CROSS or CANCEL button.
If there is at least one other comment on this image, the last comment made on the post (together with the user name of the commenter and the time it was created) will also be displayed underneath.
If there are more comments than are displayed, the total number of comments is then displayed. You can click on this note and you will get the same view as if you clicked on the speech bubble.
9. If there is more than one picture or video of the party, they will be displayed below in descending order (most recent first).
15. Navigation Bar (Function 01.01)
The navigation bar is supplemented by the buttons “Add photo” and “Create tickets” as function buttons when the period in which you are authorized to upload pictures and videos has been reached. When you open the party and the “Add Photo” button is available for the first time, you will receive an animated overlay indicating that you can now upload pictures. The hint will automatically disappear as soon as you click anywhere on the screen.
If you click the “Add photo” button, you can upload your own pictures and videos of the party. The function is described under 30 – Upload party photos.
If you click the “Set up tickets” button, you can set up tickets for your parties afterwards. The function is described under 13 – ticket creation & shop creation.
There is a detail view for parties.
The details view for parties is different to the view for the party creator (13 – How can I see my parties ?), other Papeo users.
The view for a party for other users (i.e. users who have not created this party and do not have admin rights for this party) is structured as follows:
1. Media of the party
All the pictures and videos that have been uploaded to the party are displayed in the upper area.
The images and videos run in a loop as a slide show. I.e. the gallery image (or gallery video) is displayed or played first, followed by the next image or video until all images or videos have been displayed. The loop starts playing again from the beginning.
2. REPORT button
If the party violates applicable laws or Papeo’s terms and conditions, you can use this button to report this to Papeo for review. The function is described under 46 – Report violation.
3. SHARE button
You can share your party with other users by clicking the SHARE button.. (25 – share function).
4. QR code
Your guests can share your party with other users by clicking on the QR button.
5. Remember party
If you haven’t noticed a party yet, the star icon in the top right corner of the screen is greyed out. To add the party to your personal favorites list, briefly click on the star. This lights up in color and the party is noted. If you press and hold the star, a list of users who have saved the party opens.
Next to the star icon is the number of users who have saved the party. The first number indicates how many of your own friends have saved the party (only displayed if you are logged into the application), the second number indicates how many users have saved the party in total.
6. Party Information
The party information section contains all the important information about the party:
1. Party name
2. The creator of the party with avatar picture, profile name and rating for the parties held so far. If the organizer has less than 10 ratings, the rating will not be displayed.
3. Venue, distance from venue to location from you, is it an open party or are you on the guest list, you can see the exact address of the venue here.
4. Event date, the day of the event and the time it started are displayed here. If an end time was specified as an option, this is also displayed.
5. Entrance fee, this shows whether and, if so, which entrance fee will be charged
6. If the “Buy tickets” button is activated, you can buy the tickets for this party.
7. The “Show tickets” button will show you which tickets are available to you.
8. You can use the “Participate” button to submit a request to participate in this party.
7. Party Description
This is the description of the party. If the description exceeds a certain number of characters, it will not be displayed in full, but can be expanded and displayed in full by clicking on the SHOW MORE link.
8. Guest List
1. The guest list consists of several parts. To the right of the heading is displayed how many friends (with a selection of avatars) have registered for your own party (only if you are logged into the application), to the right is the total number of users who are on the guest list.
2. The guests are listed below with their profile picture and name. If there are several guests, the list can be scrolled through. The list first shows the viewer’s profile (if they’re on the guest list), then their friends (only if you’re logged into the application), and then all other guests. The guests who were last added to the guest list are always at the top, observing the rule mentioned above. (i.e. viewer first, then all friends, then others)
3. Below this display you can see on the left how many places are still available until the limit for the number of visitors is reached. If there are no more seats available, you can no longer register for the party. You must wait until a participant cancels or the organizer increases the number of guests allowed.
9. Party Photos
This area displays party photos and videos from users and the organizer. The most recently uploaded images and videos are displayed first.
To the right is a … menu with REPORT function. If the image/video violates applicable laws or Papeo’s terms and conditions, you can use this button to report this to Papeo for review. The function is described under 46 – Report violation.
2. The image/video (medium) itself follows.
Videos are played automatically if they are at least 1/2 visible on the display and automatically paused if they are less than 2/3 visible. Playback is always muted. The mute can be switched on or off by clicking on the video.
3. Below the medium there is a LIKE button on the left. You can click on this and show that you like the post. If the button is pressed, it will appear with a colored background. To the right is the number of likes this post has already received.
4. On the right side below the medium there is a speech bubble and a button to share the medium with other people.
If you click on the speech bubble, a window will open with all the comments and you can write your own comment. The function is described under 32.2- Link to a user.
If you click on the share button, you can share the image with other users in the application or via third-party applications such as Whatsapp. The function is described under 25 – Share function.
5. Below these function buttons is a comment on the image, provided the creator has created one.
If there is at least one other comment on this image, the last comment made on the post (along with the avatar and username of the commenter) is also displayed underneath. If you created the picture yourself, you can edit the comment by pressing and holding it. The comment is then highlighted in color and you can edit the comment. Clicking on POST on the keyboard accepts the changes and the entry is updated immediately, clicking on the CROSS icon exits the editing view without accepting any changes.
If there are more comments than are displayed, the total number of comments is then displayed. You can click on this hint and this comes into the same view as if you clicked the speech bubble.
If there are more other pictures or videos of the party, these will be displayed below in descending order (the newest first). The structure of the display is repeated and you can scroll to the end of all entries.
10. Navigation Bar (Function 01.01)
The navigation bar is supplemented by the ADD PHOTO and JOIN PARTY buttons as an extended function if you are logged in and the period in which you are authorized to upload pictures and videos has been reached. When you open the party and the ADD PHOTO button is available for the first time, you will receive an animated overlay indicating that you can now upload pictures. The hint will automatically disappear as soon as you click anywhere on the screen.
If you click the ADD PHOTO button, you can upload your own pictures and videos of the party. The function is described under 30 – Upload party photos.
The INVITE button opens a list of all Papeo users.
There is a heading bar that contains a LEFT ARROW button that takes you back to the previous screen. On the right is the FILTER button, which is described below.
1. The top part of the list contains information about the party points.
2. At the top is the number of points it will cost to invite per tagged user. The value depends on the membership status.
Below that are the available points. If you click on this value, the Partypoints account screen opens (42- Partypoints account). There you can buy additional points.
To the right of the available points are the points that will cost to invite the marked users. The value changes for each marked user and is added up automatically.
3. If users have already been selected to be invited, they will appear below as avatars. If not all users can be displayed on the screen, you can scroll them to the right and left.
Holding down an avatar removes the user from the selection.
4. Below the list of avatars is the total number of users marked for invite. Once the selection is complete, the user can click the INVITE button at the bottom edge of the screen (this is always fixed there, even when scrolling) and invite the marked users to the party. The party points required for this will be deducted from the user account. Inviting users with whom the user is friends is generally free.
To the right of the number of users to be invited, there is the option of marking all users in the list currently displayed for invitation. (SELECT ALL)
Below this area is the list of selected users.
Basically, all Papeo users who can be invited to the party are displayed here (see also function 34 – My settings). As a rule, however, it is not expedient to invite all Papeo users to an event. You can therefore filter the displayed profiles according to various criteria (function described under 23 – Filter invite people). You can do this by clicking the FILTER button in the top right corner of the screen.
The displayed list is updated according to the set filter criteria. If a search filter is active, this is indicated by a red dot on the FILTER button.
The guest list appears in the area in the invite mask between friends and others. The title is “Guest List”.
During the invitation process you can use the Other, Friends and Guest list filters to filter by category. Friends are in this mask under guest list and friends.
Users who are already on the guest or waiting list are not displayed in this list and can no longer be invited.
If users are already on the guest list or waiting list for other parties running in parallel at the same time, these will only be displayed if the permitted number of your parallel party visits as described under 43 – Membership would not be exceeded if they attended this party .
Inviting the user sends them a notification which user invited them and shows the party they are invited to. Clicking on the notification opens the party details (Function 21 – How do others see my party?), where the user can register directly for the party (Function 09 – Register for a party).
If more users are selected to invite than the partypoints balance allows, the PARTY POINTS TO SPENT indicator will be displayed in red and an overlay will appear once that the partypoints are not sufficient (if additional guests are selected to invite, the overlay will not be displayed again) . Clicking anywhere on the screen hides the overlay. The INVITE button will not be clickable if there are insufficient funds to invite users. If you click anyway, the notification popup appears again.
It is possible to filter the list of users you want to invite to a party using different search criteria.
The Filter screen contains the following items:
1. Place and surroundings (enter place name or zip code in the search field, if desired, the distance around the specified place can be selected using the slider)
2. Date of the last activity (the date of the last use of Papeo can be selected in the calendar field, all profiles are displayed from the selected date, i.e. also profiles that were active after this day)
3. You can use the filter “following you”, “your followers”, “others”, “friends” and “guest list” to filter by category. Friends are in this mask under guest list and friends.
4. Gender (MALE, FEMALE, OTHER: several or no buttons can be activated, no selection corresponds to the selection of all buttons)
5. Age (minimum and maximum age – selection via a slider, minimum 16, maximum >70)
6. AUTHENTICATED USERS to only display users whose authenticity has been confirmed by video identification (function described under 41 – Videoident).
7. PARTY KING MEMBERS to show only users with active Party King membership
8. ARTISTS to show only users with an active artist profile
You can activate no or any number of checkboxes.
To activate the search filter, click on the SAVE button and this will take you to the previous search screen, which will be updated based on the entries. The SAVE button always shows the number of search results in brackets that match the set search criteria (updated with each change).
The filter entries are saved permanently until the next time the filter is changed.
If you want to reset the filter settings, click on RESET ALL in the bottom left of the filter view. All filter inputs will be disabled. Now you can set new filter criteria or you can click the SAVE button immediately to deactivate the filter.
You can also invite other users to a party that you have not created yourself.
This way you can organize yourself and invite friends and people you find interesting to the party you want to go to yourself.
For this it is necessary that you are on the guest list of the party.
If there are still free places on the guest list, you can click on the INVITE button and invite other users to the party. The function is described under (Point 22 – Inviting people to a party).
You can share various content with friends and others.
After you click the SHARE button on the content you want to share, a popup will open.
You have to choose between sharing with a Papeo friend and others. To do this, select the corresponding button. If you click on CANCEL, the popup closes and the content is not shared.
If you click on the OTHERS button, you can send a link to the content via a third-party application such as Whatsapp. The function of the operating system of the device opens to share a link. A preview of the shared content is sent as an image next to the link.
If you click on the PARTYFRIEND button, the content will be shared via the application. A new screen will open.
At the top left is a LEFT ARROW button. If you click this button, you will return to the previous view without the content being shared.
To share the content, you select the users of his friends list by clicking on them. Selected friends will be highlighted and appear as a shortcut at the top (if more than can be displayed are selected, you can scroll them left and right). The shortcut remains fixed at the top of the screen when scrolling up and down. To deselect users again, click on them again.
You can also search the list for specific friends. To do this, click on the search symbol at the top right and enter part or all of the name of the friend you are looking for in the search field that appears. After each character entered, the list of friends displayed will update with the results that match the search entered.
Once all users with whom the content is to be shared have been selected, click the SHARE button at the bottom of the screen. It is firmly anchored there.
The content will then be shared with the selected friends and they will receive a NOTIFICATION in the SHARED CONTENT section.
The function 01.01 – Navigation bar is hidden in this function.
The screen for managing your own party can be accessed via the detail view of the party (20 – How can I see my parties?).
1. To the right is a SEARCH icon, clicking opens a search box to search for users in the active list below. You can enter all or part of the name of the user you are looking for here and you will see an updated search result in the list after each new character you enter.
There are 3 different lists to manage the party. You can switch between the lists by clicking on the 3 tabs under the search field. The currently active list is marked in color, the other lists are greyed out. Only one button can be active at a time.
2. TAB MANAGEMENT
This list contains all the guests on the guest list. By clicking on the respective button, you can select here whether the guests have already paid the entrance fee (the button is only displayed if an entrance fee has been set for the party) and whether the guests were present (the button is only shown 2 hours before the start of the event and by April 2). hours after the end of the event, if no end of the event was specified, then only up to two hours after the start of the event). The presence can also be recorded by the guest himself, the button changes accordingly (see function 09 – register for a party).
Above the guests is the total number of guests on the guest list, how many of them have paid and how many are present. On the right is a filter to sort the guest list (newest users on list first, oldest users on list first, by alphabet, by gender, by membership, by color). This display is fixed and does not scroll.
IMPORTANT: Users who have paid the entrance fee or who have been marked as present at the party can no longer be deleted from the guest list and can no longer delete themselves from the guest list.
If the Management list is open, a BROADCAST button is added to the navigation bar (Function 01.01 – Navigation bar) via which chat messages can be sent to all or part of the guests. For this purpose, each user can be assigned to a guest group. The user’s profile is pressed and held for this purpose. A selection of colors appears with which the guest can be marked and thus assigned to a corresponding group.
If you click on the BROADCAST button, a new window will open. There you can select the guest group (color and/or gender) to which you want to send the message, multiple selection is possible. Below that appears the party it’s about. Below you can enter the text that you want to send to the guests. Sending the message is chargeable and costs 1 party point per user to whom the message is sent in order to avoid uncontrolled spam sending. If the organizer has sent the message, it will appear in the party chat of each guest (the sender is the organizer or the respective party admin – function 29. Advanced Party Admins), who can reply to it.
GUEST LIST:
All users who are registered for the party or, in the case of closed parties, users who have sent a participation request are listed here.
In the case of closed parties, the organizer must approve each individual user to participate. You can do this by clicking on the ACCEPT button on the right side of the respective user.
If the last free guest list space was occupied by the release of a user and there are other users who are on the waiting list for release, an overlay opens in which the organizer must select whether he really wants to accept the user who has just been accepted and the guest list is full with it or if he does not want to carry out his selection and does not release the user. If he confirms the release, all users on the waiting list who have not yet been accepted will receive a notification that the guest list is currently full and they cannot be released at this time.
If you are not approved for participation, you can delete it from the guest list by clicking on the TRASHCAN symbol. In this case, you cannot apply again to participate in this party.
If you have already been approved for participation in the party (closed party) or you have indicated your participation (open party), then you are also on the guest list. The organizer can remove individual users from the guest list by clicking on the TRASHCAN icon to the right of the user. IMPORTANT: If you have been removed from the guest list in this way, you can apply to participate again in closed parties or re-register on the guest list in open parties. (Different from clicking remove in closed parties if you weren’t accepted yet)
ATTENTION, if a user is already marked as paid or present, you can no longer be deleted from the guest list. This is only possible after the paid and present status has been removed. If the Guestlist is open, a BROADCAST button is added to the navigation bar (Function 01.01 – Navigation bar) via which chat messages can be sent to all or part of the guests be able.
Sending the message is chargeable and costs 500 Party Points to avoid uncontrolled spam sending. If the organizer has sent the message, it will appear in the party chat of each guest (the sender is the organizer or the respective party admin – function 29. Advanced Party Admins), who can reply to it.

You can get an overview of your own parties.
To do this, a click in the main menu opens the view of your own parties in a new window.
Below are three buttons with which you can select which of your parties you want to see. Only one button can be selected at a time. If you click on a button, it will be activated and marked in colour. This also disables the other buttons.

Clicking on the TRASH BUTTON opens a popup in which you have to confirm that you want to permanently delete the party. If the party is in the list of active parties, the popup also contains a text field in which the organizer must enter a text to justify the cancellation. If the party is in the active parties, all users who are on the guest list will receive a chat message with the entered cancellation text (see Function 26 – Admin Tool – Broadcast Chat Message). Users who are on the waiting list (for closed parties) or who have saved the party will receive a notification that the party has been cancelled. The reason previously entered in the popup is displayed to users in the notification.
ATTENTION: Once a party has been deleted, it can no longer be recreated. All data stored for the party and all links to the party or the party photos will be irrevocably deleted. (Party photos uploaded by users are only saved in the profile of the respective user who uploaded the photos/videos. The linking of these media to the party will be removed.)
Parties can only be deleted by the original creator. You cannot delete parties for which you are only activated as an administrator. No TRASH button for deleting is displayed here either.

The organizer now selects the desired user or users for the list of administrators by clicking on the ADD ADMIN button. By the organizer clicking the SAVE button on the top right, the selected users will be added to the admin list. If you don’t want to add the selected users, you can simply click on another list and the users will not be saved as administrators.
2. The new administrators are listed on the admin list that now appears again. These can now be equipped with different rights. It is possible to assign none, one or more rights. If the user is to be deleted again as an administrator, the organizer clicks on the TRASHCAN button and confirms the action in the following popup.

The organizer should generally only give rights to people whom he trusts, as they represent him and administer the party on his behalf.
The organizer can use the SHOW ACTIVITIES button at the bottom right to display a list of all the activities of the respective auxiliary admin. If the content in question can still be displayed, it will be linked accordingly so that the admin can change the change back if necessary.

If the post is hidden, the medium including all comments is still visible in the creator’s profile and is no longer displayed for other users. (crossed out eye marks when invisible to other users)
If the post is deleted, the medium and all comments will be removed from the Papeo platform and cannot be restored.
1.3 The medium itself follows. Images are generally scaled to the entire width of the screen while maintaining the aspect ratio. Images that are too tall are scaled to a maximum height of 1350 pixels, and the edges of the screen are filled with black bars. Videos are scaled to the width of the screen but to a maximum height of 1350 pixels while maintaining the aspect ratio and played automatically. Playback is always muted. The mute can be switched on or off by clicking on a video.

(If there is no comment for your own medium, a placeholder is displayed here to add one.) An overlay opens to change the entry. You can save changes by clicking on SAVE or discard them by clicking on the CROSS or CANCEL button.

If you created the comment yourself, you can edit it. To do this, press and hold it longer. The comment can then be edited directly in the view. Clicking CONFIRM on the keyboard or anywhere else outside of the comment saves the changes.

Uploaded images and videos (media) can be commented on.
By default, any user can comment on media. If a user has repeatedly broken Papeo’s rules in the past, it’s also possible that the right to comment has been revoked.
To comment on a medium, click on the speech bubble on the right under the respective medium. A new page with comments will open.
The 01.01 – Navigation bar is hidden in this view.
All previous comments on a medium appear on this page.
At the top left is a LEFT ARROW button. If you click on this, you will return to the previous view.
First comes the comment that the user who uploaded the medium gave to the medium. All comments are listed below in chronological order, the oldest comment is at the top, the newest comments at the bottom.
The comments are structured as follows:
1. On the left is the commenter’s avatar. At the top right is the profile name of the commenter. After that, the comment begins in the continuous text.
2. Below the actual comment is the time when the comment was posted.
3. on the right side of the comment there is a menu which can be expanded using a 3-point button in the overlay. Depending on the status of the user, the menu contains the possible functions.
1. The following functions are possible:
Reply – for all users, but not for the user who created the comment – by clicking you can write a reply to the comment. The topic of replies is described in detail below.
Edit comment – only for the user who created the comment. A window opens to edit the comment. If the comment has changed, it is marked with (edited) at the end and the creation time is updated to the editing time.
Delete comment – for the user who created the comment and for the user who uploaded the medium the comment will be irrevocably removed from the post with all replies after clicking.
Report comment – for all users, but not for the user who created the comment and not for the user who uploaded the medium. Comments that violate applicable laws or Papeo’s terms and conditions can be reported by clicking this button (function described under 46 – Report violation)
Block user – only for the user who uploaded the medium. Clicking opens a query whether the user should really be blocked. If this is confirmed, the user will be blocked (Function 44 – Block user) To do this, the menu item BLOCK USER must be pressed and held. A loading bar fills up as the background of the menu entry; when this fills up, the function is executed. If BLOCK USER is released beforehand, nothing is executed and the background is reset to the original color.
2. If there are replies to a comment, they will be displayed below.
Replies to a post are initially hidden. Only one line is displayed in which you can see how many replies there are to a comment. If you click on this line, the three most recent answers will open below (they are structured like the previous comment, but are indented), the most recent answer will be displayed at the bottom, the other answers above it in chronological order, the oldest answer at the top . If there are more replies, the line between the comment and replies that shows the number of replies changes to a line that shows how many replies are still hidden. Clicking on this line again shows 5 more previous answers. This is repeated until all answers are shown, then the line is only shown as a short hyphen. Clicking on the line again folds in all the answers and the display starts over.
3. Your own avatar image appears at the bottom of the screen, with a text field to the right of it, in which you can write your own comments. By clicking POST, the comment is added to the previous comments and is visible to everyone.
If you previously clicked on REPLY for an existing comment or an existing reply, it will appear above the text field so that you can see that you are currently creating a reply to a post.
4. Replies to comments and replies to replies to comments are always displayed in the reply feed of the associated comment and are not further nested.
In the comment field you can enter text in any character set, smilies are supported. To mention a user, you can enter an @ sign and enter the username, after a few characters a selection of possible users from the friends list will appear, by clicking you select the desired user, you can then continue writing and the display of the possible ones User is adjusted after each character or you click on a user to select it. The username after the @ is then completed. If you don’t click a user in the overlay selection, the input after the @ will not be linked to a user either, but interpreted as normal text input. If a user has been selected, the link is highlighted in blue. Clicking on the link links to the profile of the mentioned user for all users.
Any person from the friends list can be tagged on pictures (not videos).
To do this, click on any area of the image in the image view and hold it down.
Now a square opens around the pressed area. At the same time, an overlay with the list of your friends is displayed. If you have more than 3 friends, you can scroll through the list. At the top of the overlay is a search box to search the friend list usernames in full text. The search starts when you have entered at least 3 characters, the list below updates with each entered character. The user you want to mark can now be selected by clicking on it. This saves the mark.
Tags are immediately visible to all users viewing the image. If a user has been tagged on an image, the image will appear in the image gallery of the tagged user’s profile in the MENTIONED area, where all images will be displayed on which the user has been tagged.
All you have to do is click on the picture and all the markings will be displayed. The marked position is framed with a square and the user name is displayed above it. This is linked to the user’s profile.
If you have created a displayed mark yourself or if the user has marked himself, a CROSS button will appear to the right of the user name. Clicking on the button irrevocably deletes the user’s marking.

Here you just select his current location, which you want to publish in the profile. This is very important for the further use of Papeo, since many functions relate to the location.
The location does not necessarily have to be the place of residence if there are good reasons to indicate a different location. The entered location is only published by Papeo in the form of the location and is not visible to other users in more detail. However, the search functions access the exact location to display the best possible results.
If you are at the location that you would like to enter, you can click on the button for location search at the bottom right of the map. The application then determines the current location of the device and transfers this to the map. The button is animated after opening the screen, the lettering LOCATE ME is also displayed and folds down to any position on the screen after clicking.
Alternatively, you can also search for your location manually using the map or enter the address in the search field. The map then moves to the entered address.
Finally, the marker on the map determines the location that you want to save.
If all entries are correct, click on FINISH and the profile will be created. You are now a new Papeo and can meet other party people.
If you notice an error in the data, you can also use the BACK button to go back to the previous page and change your information again.
Clicking on the SETTINGS menu item in the main menu (function 03 – main menu) opens a new page with all the setting options for the application.
At the top right is the Reset All button (in the INVITATIONS, NOTIFICATIONS, and OTHER tabs only). If this is clicked, all settings of the application are reset to the factory settings after a query.
Below are the individual settings. This is divided into three areas, which can be selected via the respective tab:
TAB INVITATIONS
In Papeo, any user can be invited to their party by any user if your settings allow it. To avoid receiving unwanted invitations, you can set which parties you would like to be invited to on this subpage. The following checkboxes are available for this (one, no or several checkboxes can be activated at the same time):
FOLLOW – you can be invited by other users you follow.
FOLLOWERS – you can be invited by other users who follow you.
OTHER – you can be invited by all other users that don’t match the above
The functions of the activated buttons are linked by “and”, i.e. if you have selected the button FOLLOWING and FOLLOWERS, then you can be invited by users who follow you and who you follow.
In addition, you can limit the above filter functions to a radius around the address stored in your user profile. For this purpose there is a slider below the checkboxes, with which the minimum and maximum distance to the address can be defined. This offers you very interesting setting options.
The distance slider is always enabled to get the maximum possible requests if it is set to a distance of 0km – unlimited.
NOTIFICATIONS TAB
You will receive notifications within the application for various events that affect your Papeo account (see function 05 – Notifications).
In addition to these notifications, you can also receive certain notifications as a PUSH message directly to your device or be notified by email.
In order to be notified by email, a valid email address must be entered. If no email address has been entered or if you want to change the email address, click on the ENTER A NEW EMAIL button. You will then be directed to the function of entering and verifying a new email address from function 02 – LOGIN in order to enter a new email address. The verification process works as described there, if the verification is successful you will be linked back to the settings page.
In this sub-area you choose which types of notifications you would like to receive additional notifications for. To do this, simply activate the corresponding button behind the respective topic. Active notifications are highlighted in color, inactive notifications are greyed out.
ATTENTION – you will always receive notifications in the application, they cannot be switched off.
CHANGE PAYMENT METHOD TAB
Enter a billing address and payment method here to easily make future purchases.

You can also search the list for specific users. To do this, click on the search symbol at the top right and enter part or all of the name of the friend you are looking for in the search field that appears. If at least 3 characters are entered, the list of followers is searched. With each entered character, the list of users corresponding to the entered search term is updated. The search is carried out as a phonetic full text search in the user name, i.e. the entered characters are searched for anywhere in the user name, they do not have to be exactly the same, but can also have a similar pronunciation.
This navigation line always remains fixed at the top of the screen when scrolling.
Below that is the list of users that the profile is following. This is always sorted by the most recently added users that the profile follows. The user who was added last is at the top, the user who was added first is at the bottom.
The SELF VIEW also has the following function:
If it is the list of your own profile, you can delete a user who follows you from the list. To do this, press and hold the profile of the user you want to remove from the list. The profile is then marked in color and a Trashcan button appears. Clicking the button removes the user from the list of people who follow you. You will no longer follow the removed user.
There is an overview of all party friends of a foreign user.
You can also search the list for specific friends. Below the navigation bar is the list of friends, either complete or just the corresponding search results, depending on what you type in the search field. The list is sorted alphabetically from a-z.
There is an overview of all your own party friends.
There is a SEARCH icon in the top right corner, clicking opens a search box to search for users in the currently active tab below. You can enter all or part of the name of the user you are looking for here and you will see an updated search result in the list after each new character you enter (from at least 3 characters entered). The search is carried out as a phonetic full text search in the user name, i.e. the entered characters are searched for anywhere in the user name, they do not have to be exactly the same, but can also have a similar pronunciation.
This navigation line with the tabs always remains fixed at the top of the screen when scrolling.
The friends list itself is divided into three parts. The user can activate the desired list via the tabs below the search line. Multiple selection is not possible. The active tab is highlighted in color, the inactive tabs are greyed out. Clicking on one tab deactivates the other tab.
The profiles that were filtered using the tab selection and a possible search term are displayed under the tabs:
PARTY FRIENDS
A list of your party friends is displayed here. The sorting is done alphabetically from a-z.
You can end friendship with a user. To do this, press and hold the profile of the user you want to remove from the friends list. The profile is then marked in color and a Trashcan button appears. Clicking on the button ends the friendship with the selected user. The selected user will be removed from the friends list.
SENT REQUESTS
A list of users to whom you have sent a party friend request is displayed here. Sorting is done in such a way that the friend request sent most recently is displayed at the top and the oldest request sent is at the bottom.
You can cancel the friend request to a user. To do this, press and hold the profile of the user for whom you want to withdraw the friend request. The profile is then marked in color and a Trashcan button appears. Clicking on the button ends the friend request for the selected user. The selected user is removed from the list.
INQUIRIES RECEIVED
A list of users who have sent you a party friend request is displayed here. The sorting is done chronologically, the last request received is at the top, the oldest request at the bottom.
You can accept or decline the friend request sent to you. One user at a time can be selected by simply clicking on it. If the user is selected, two buttons for accepting or rejecting the friend request are displayed on the left and right and the user can be swiped left and right. If a user is selected in this way, the other users are displayed neutrally without buttons and cannot be swiped. If no user is selected, the user who can still be accepted is always displayed at the top of the list in this way. To accept, swipe the user right or click the PARTYFRIENDS button on the right. The friend request is accepted. The new party friend will receive a notification about this.
You don’t get a notification yourself, but a full-screen overlay celebrating the new friendship appears immediately. At the bottom of the overlay is a SEND MESSAGE button. Clicking on this button opens the chat (function described under 04 – Chat) and you can write a message to the new friend directly. If you click on the CROSS button in the top right of the overlay, the overlay closes, the new party friend is removed from the list of friend requests and now appears under the list of party friends.
To reject, swipe the profile left or press the CROSS button. As a result, the profile is grayed out, the request was rejected, and the requesting user receives a notification. You will not receive a notification that the friend request for the selected user has been rejected. The greyed-out profile will remain on the list until the list is manually refreshed and will still be linked to the profile, allowing you to view the profile again even after declining the friend request.
Party friends are marked throughout the application with the PARTYFREUNDE logo on the avatar image. (not for mini avatra pictures)
Members who have confirmed their identity to Papeo are trustworthy and welcome guests. If there are only a few free guest list spots left and the organizer has to decide who to put on the guest list, they will probably prefer a verified member because they can be sure that the member will actually come to the party.
Verified members receive a green checkmark in their profile after their username.
You can use the Videoident function to confirm your identity.
The function works in different phases:
Phase 1. If you have not yet had your identity confirmed by videoident, click on the VERIFY button in your own profile. (Function 35 – User Profile (own view) )
1. A screen with the system camera view and an overlay will now open, prompting you to upload a video. If you don’t want to do this, you can close the popup using the CANCEL button at the bottom left without any action being taken.
2. If you want to carry out the videoident, click on the START button. The overlay will close and you will see the system camera (depending on device settings and operating system). There the user can record an identity video. The recording must be at least 10 seconds long and will stop automatically when the maximum recording length of 30 seconds is reached. The process can be canceled at any time by clicking on the CROSS symbol at the top right, nothing will then be saved.
An identification video must contain the user’s face, it must also show a piece of paper with the user’s name on it. The user must hold this piece of paper in his hand and verbally mention his name in the video. The identification video is not only used for identity verification, but is also displayed in the user’s profile. The user can therefore also tell other users more about themselves.
When the recording is finished, you can watch your video again.
1. If you are not satisfied, click the RECORD NEW button, the video will not be saved and you will return to the previous screen and can record a new video.
2. If you are satisfied, click the SAVE FOR VERIFICATION button. The video will be saved to Papeo and the verification process will start. The VERIFY button is hidden in the profile and the identity video is added to the media feed in the profile.
You can delete or re-record the video at any time before the review ends. If you click on your identification video in the media feed in your profile and a video has already been saved, the second screen will be displayed directly, in which you can play your video. You can now re-record this by clicking the RECORD NEW button or click the DUMP BIN button in the profile’s media feed to DELETE. You will then be asked if you really want to delete your identification video. If you confirm this, the video will be deleted immediately and the popup will close.
ATTENTION, both the new recording and the deletion of an identity video reset all previously received identity ratings. You can only re-register once every 24 hours.
Phase 2. After the identification video has been uploaded, the authenticity must be confirmed by reviews from the Papeo community.
This is done using the VERIFY NEW USERS function in the main menu (Function 03 – Main Menu). If you click on this, a new screen will open.
1. Below the header is the number in % of how often the user has correctly rated a user video
2. Below this, an identification video of a user is displayed (the oldest videos first, the newest last) who would like to have their identity checked. Videos that you have already rated will no longer be displayed. The video will autoplay and auto-repeat when it expires until you take an action.
3. 2 buttons for rating are displayed next to the video.
You can press the CROSS button if you think the identification video does not show a real user (e.g. because they do not meet the conditions for an identification video mentioned under 1.). Alternatively, you can also swipe the screen to the left. This will count the vote as FAKE for this video.
You can press the HOOK button if you think the identification video shows the real user. Alternatively, you can also swipe the screen to the right. This will count the vote as REAL for that video.
4. The short profile of the user is displayed below the buttons. This can be clicked.
Phase 3. While the identification video is online for the community to evaluate, all votes cast are counted.
If a video has received at least 10 votes, the occurrence of the following event is checked for each vote cast. As long as none of the events occur, the video will continue to be displayed in point 2.
Events:
At least 90% of users voted for the video as fake
the identification video is no longer displayed for evaluation under point 2.
the user who created the video will receive a notification that its authenticity could not be verified and the video will be deleted.
the current identification video is deleted, the user can upload a new video using the VERIFY PROFILE button (function 35 – user profile (own view) ).
all users who have rated the video as FAKE will be given a correct vote for the videoident. (the percentage of correct ratings, which is displayed under point 2, will be updated accordingly).
At least 90% of users voted for the video as REAL
the identification video is no longer displayed for evaluation under point 2.
the user who created the video receives a notification that his authenticity has been confirmed and that he is now a verified member and this is indicated by a green tick behind his username.
the identification video is now displayed in the FEED of the picture gallery of the user profile pinned in the top left corner and highlighted in color in the gallery (31 – party photos gallery).
the VERIFY PROFILE button is no longer displayed in your profile (function 35 – user profile (own view)).
all users who have rated the video with REAL will be rated with the correct vote for the videoident. (the percentage of correct ratings, which is displayed under point 2, will be updated accordingly).

The account movements are grouped by day, the respective date is displayed above the respective group.
Below is the account movement, it is explained exactly what amount was spent or received for what.
Below this, on the right, is the exact time of the account movement.
The display is repeated according to this scheme for all existing account movements.
If there are more account movements than can be displayed on one screen, these are reloaded when scrolling.
BUY PARTY POINTS
If you clicked on the TOP UP button, a new screen will open.
1. In the top left corner there is a LEFT ARROW button. If you click this, you will return to the previous screen.
2. The current account balance with the available Party Points is displayed underneath.

You can select one by clicking the selection button (you cannot select multiple packages, clicking on one package deselects all other packages).
4. If you have made the right choice, click on the ORDER button.
Now the dialog of the respective app store opens to buy electronic goods. You must complete the purchase process via your app store. After successful completion, you will be directed back to the ACCOUNT STATEMENT and the newly purchased Party Points will appear directly on the account statement as a credit.
Navigation bar (Function 01.01)
The navigation bar will be hidden on the BUY PARTY POINTS screen.
There are two types of memberships in Papeo.
Standard Members and Party King Members.
Standard members can use Papeo as well as Party King members. Most features are also available for standard members.
The Party King Membership is a 1-month subscription and costs EUR 19.90.
Party King members have the following advantages over standard members.
1. Number of possible parties:
standard members
can activate a maximum of 2 private and 1 commercial party on Papeo at the same time. This means that standard members can create as many party designs as they like, but only the stated limit of them can be activated. When an active party has expired (event end date reached or if no event end date is specified, 2 hours after the event start) then the default member can activate a new party. It is also possible to delete an active party before the event starts, then another party can be activated.
Activating more parties beyond the limit costs 100 Party Points.
PARTY KING
a maximum of 10 parties can be active on Papeo at the same time. No distinction is made between private and commercial parties.
The party limit can be exceeded for both memberships. In order to create more parties than the limit allows, the member must pay for activation with Party Points (see function 12 – create a party). In this case, the limit is exceeded by one party. In order to come under the permitted limit described above, at least 2 parties would then have to be deleted or ended in order to add a new party free of charge. (or correspondingly more parties if more were created).
Activating more parties beyond the limit costs 75 Party Points.
2. Number of parallel registrations for a party
Every member can register for parties on Papeo and thereby occupies a place on the guest list.
standard members
A maximum of 3 parties with the same event time can be registered (i.e. Party 1 will take place on June 21, 2021 from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., Party 2 on June 21, 2021 from 4 p.m. to midnight, Party 3 on June 21, 2021 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m The member is registered for these 3 parties and could not register for another party 4, which also takes place on June 21, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., because the guest list limit has been exceeded.
PARTY KINGs
can register for a maximum of 10 parties at the same time.
Simultaneous registrations are interesting for promoters, artists or party hoppers, for example.
3. Cost of inviting guests to a party
Every user can invite other users to parties on Papeo. Inviting users from your own friends list is basically free of charge. However, the user must pay Party Points to invite other users.
standard members
Inviting another user to a party costs 8 Party Points per user.
PARTY KING
Inviting another user to a party costs 6 Party Points per user.
4. Upload party pictures (see function 30 – Upload party photos)
Any user who is on the guest list at a party can upload party pictures and videos (media). Uploading is limited in time.
standard members
Party pictures can be uploaded from the start of the event at the earliest.
PARTY KING
Party pictures can be uploaded no earlier than midnight on the day of the event. This means that pictures of party preparations or the arrival can already be uploaded.
5. Help with party management
standard members
need to take care of your party by yourself
PARTY KING
can make other users from the guest list of your event party admins and give them different rights to get help organizing a party. Different rights can be assigned for each party admin, so that the organizer of the party always has control over who can do what. In addition, there is a history to see what each party admin has done. (Function described under 29 – Advanced Party Admins).
5. Verified Membership
In Papeo there are two ways to become a verified member:Standardmitglieder
can only be activated as a verified member by a videoident (function described under 41 – Videoident).
PARTY KING
every Party King member automatically becomes a verified member upon completion of membership. If the membership is terminated, he also loses his status as a verified member, unless he has also had himself checked by videoident.
Presentation of Membership
standard members
are not specially marked.
PARTY KING
are highlighted separately on the platform and are therefore clearly recognizable as PARTY KING members everywhere in the application for other members.
Instead of the Party King membership, you can also convert it to an ARTIST profile (Function 42 – Artists). The profile is then not marked as a Party King profile, but as an artist (i.e. artist profile).
If you have clicked on the appropriate place to buy the PARTY KING membership, a new screen will open.
1. In the top left corner there is a LEFT ARROW button. If you click this, you will return to the previous screen.
2. Below that, the profile picture and the cost of the PARTY KING membership are displayed.
3. Below is a list of the benefits of PARTY KING membership.
4. At the bottom is the BECOME PARTY KING MEMBER button. Clicking the button opens the dialog of the respective app store of the device used. There you can complete the membership. A monthly subscription is taken out, which can be canceled at any time directly in the app stores in accordance with the conditions of the app stores. There is no termination via the app.
If the membership was successfully completed, you will be directed back to the previous screen (e.g. own user profile 35 – user profile (own view) or create party 12 – create a party). You will immediately receive all the benefits of the PARTY KING membership, the page you were redirected to will be updated and the content will be adapted to the new membership.
In this function, the 01.01 – Navigation bar is hidden.
The party king field can be replaced by system admins with the appropriate rights. The system admin has the option of customizing the design of this area using font selection, emoji selection, background and font color. The area extends over the full width of the screen. In general, a verified organizer is tagged with an emblem. The verification must also be able to be undone by the system admin.

After the user has been blocked, a new page will open with the list of blocked users, on which a new user will be added.
There is an overview to see all the users you have blocked.
The list is part of the application’s settings (function described under 34 My settings) and is located under the OTHER button.
The list only shows the blocked users’ profiles as a preview (not linked to their profile). The last blocked user appears at the top, the first blocked user at the bottom.

Papeo wants to provide a pleasant user experience for all users. However, much of the content comes from the users themselves and it may happen that content does not comply with the law or Papeo’s terms and conditions.
In this case, each user has the opportunity to report content from Papeo to our administrators for review.
There is an opportunity to report content in the profiles, in the parties, as well as in the media and comments. The purpose of this function is to be able to react quickly to inappropriate content and remove it. Misuse of this function also constitutes a violation of Papeo’s terms and conditions. Repeated misuse can therefore lead to your own account being blocked.
If you clicked the REPORT button, a popup will open in which you can report the violation. If the function was accidentally clicked, you can close the popup by clicking on the CROSS button at the top right.
If you have already reported the content you clicked on, a window will appear stating that you have already reported the content and cannot submit a new report until the administrator has decided on his report. In this window there is also a WITHDRAW REPORT button. Clicking on the button deletes the message you have already sent.
1. The popup states that the reported content must violate the law or Papeo’s terms and conditions. Papeo’s terms and conditions are linked to the terms and conditions (function 47 – business conditions).
2. Below that are two buttons to upload a screenshot each. Clicking on a button opens the system dialog of the device (this differs depending on the operating system and device settings) in order to select a screenshot from the device images for uploading. The screenshot must be created by yourself beforehand, how this works depends on the respective device and is described for the device.
3. If you have selected the wrong screenshot, you can remove it again by clicking on the DUMP BIN button.
4. Below is a text box. You must leave a short comment here why you are reporting the content.
5. If the screenshots are correct and a comprehensible text describing the violation has been entered, you can use the SEND REPORT button to send the report to the Papeo administrators. The message will now be checked and the content will be removed if necessary.
At least one screenshot and a meaningful message must be entered.
Papeo has general terms and conditions, which you can view via the relevant linked locations.
A new screen will open.
1. There is a LEFT ARROW button on the top left, clicking it will take you back to the previous page.
Next to it is the heading TERMS OF USE, in a new line below it in smaller font the status of the conditions (“Status: Date”).
This navigation line always remains fixed at the top of the screen when scrolling.
2. Below are the current terms and conditions. You can scroll up and down to read through them.
Users can mark themselves as artists in Papeo. You can be found by party organizers and book through the chat. In order to write to artist profiles, a user does not have to be friends with the artist.
In order to mark yourself as an artist, it is mandatory that you have a valid Party-King membership. If you are no longer a Party King member, you will also lose your status as an artist and you will automatically only be a Basic member.
Artist profiles are tagged differently than Party King profiles. The marking of the party king is omitted and is replaced by the marking as an artist.
You can now invite all your friends, family members, neighbors etc. to Papeo.
We will provide you with an invitation link in your profile. You just have to share your link.
You can find the invitation link in the menu. To do this, click on the three lines…
…then the menu of your profile will open. To receive your invite link, click Share.
You have 3 different ways to share your invite link.
Possibility “landing code”:
1. Here you have the option to only see your invitation code. This code is required when registering in the Papeo app.
2. Here you have the option of sharing the link directly.
3. You also have the option to check your stats on how many users have registered through your invite link.
4. You have the option to create a completely new invitation code.
Possibility “Other”:
You can use the second option if you want to share your invitation link directly via message, Whatsapp, Snapchat, etc. To do this, click on the three dots “Other”. and choose where you want to send your invite link.
“Copy link” option:
You can use the third option if you just want to copy and paste your invite link into a message separately, or post your invite link somewhere for promotion.
General Functionality
- If you have registered in the Papeo app using an invitation code, you will automatically be assigned to the team of the invitation code owner.
- If you have registered in the app without an invitation code, you will initially not be assigned to any team.
- If you are not assigned to a team, you can be assigned to a team by subsequently entering an invitation code. Entering an invitation code later can be done by yourself or by a Papeo party king. If a Papeo Party King enters his invitation code in a “free” user profile, you will first be assigned to the Party King’s team. You can overwrite the entry of the Papeo Partyking with your own entry within 14 days. After the 14 days have expired, the entry cannot be changed.
- You can see the team membership in each profile and you can understand the multi-level tree via a detailed view. Each Papeo entry in the tree is linked to the user profile. User profiles that have been deleted remain as placeholders without a link
- There is no level limit
- If a deleted user object is in the scoring thread, scoring is treated as if that user were active.
- Since the tree structure can change when invitation codes are entered in user profiles, the current strand is always taken when allocating points.
- All transactions that take place through the multi-level system are marked in the transaction list
You can find the invitation link in the menu. To do this, click on the three lines…
Distribution of points in the level system
- The starting value (e.g. 500 PP) from the point allocation system in the multi-level tree, measured in Papeo Party points, can be freely configured by the system administrator. An adjustment is possible at any time.
- The points are distributed as a percentage and the distribution depends on the user status of the member (artist & party king or normal user).
- If you as a user have received shares in a registration, you must give up 40% of the amount received if there is a user above you and you are a normal user. 30% will be credited to the user above you and 10% will be burned.
- If you as a user have received shares in a registration, you must pay 30% of the amount received if there is a user above you and you are a party king or artist. 30% will be credited to the user above you.
- Each receipt of a transaction (incoming only) will sound a notification tone that can be disabled in the settings.
- (There is a push message for each input)
- Subsequent entries do not give points
- If someone completes a party king, the user above him gets something
